Rating: - hmm warm..
Although this blanket had the best size match for my bed I was put off from buying it by the reviews. However after the cold snap just before Christmas I decided that reviews would not keep me warm.
The blanket turned out to be great, warm controllable and I have yet to wake up in anything other than controlled comfort. Only draw back I can see is although it's got dual controls bother sides are independently powered so you need a wall socket on each side of the bed.
Rating: - the cold shoulder
Just replaced our broken old overblanket with a Dreamland fitted mattress cover - problem with it is that the top 2 feet doesn't have heating wires in it, consequently although your bottom half is warm when you get into bed, your shoulders are freezing cold !
Only solution I can see is to cut off the area that fits it to the bed and tuck in the top 18 inches.
What a stupid design !

I wish I had seen the previous reviewer's comments before I bought this blanket. I was so damp with perspiration after the first night of sleeping on it, I thought that I had experienced early menopausal symptoms! I've owned fleecy electric blankets before that have a natural feel to them, but this one feels very synthetic under the sheet and makes my hair stand on end when I make the bed! In my opinion, not a good choice; I'd go for another manufacturer.
