Rating: - The Pick of the 80s
I can't believe the reviewer (Debbie) who says she didn't know most of these tracks! If she was there in the 1980s, she must have had ear plugs in and a paper bag over her head! This album is a great compilation at a bargain price - fantastic for listening to in the car, or quizzing your mates (who was that?), or demonstrating your vast knowledge of 1980s pop trivia. For the discerning listener, this series of albums prompts wider research into some of these artists - the excellent Blancmange, for example, and whatever happened to Kon Kan?
At less than £1 per disc, this is amazing value. For those who weren't there it provides a pretty good overview of what was happening in that decade.
Rating: - Disappointing
There were so many songs that I had never heard before. I thought I was going to know them all so it was very disappointing. I wonder how many were actually "hits"?

Since their introduction to the survey, entertainment items have become much more widely available. Access to a television has always been highly prevalent (93% of households in 1972, rising to 99% in 2002).
